So am I the only one who remembers when the fact that cereal had sugar in it was worth putting into the name? "Super Sugar Crisps", "Sugar Corn Pops", etc.

I miss those days.

Star Wars is not a Cereal Brand! Nor is Nemo. That's a movie, and a damn hard one to swallow at that. I want a cereal, not a brand!

Besides, the Star Wars cereal compares poorly with Alphabits.

Gimme a Goldfish Noodle Soup instead.

What's your favorite cereal as snack food? Cereal that you eat directly out of the box?

For me it's Corn Bran and Crispix. I actually can't imagine eating them with milk. Never have, probably never will.

Starting simple

Ok...the simple question - what's your favorite? The Kellogg cereals tend to go on sale the most frequently, so I tend to buy those, especially "Corn Pops", but given the chance, I love Crunchberry Captain Crunch, and would get that every time.

So, the General Mills brands of cereals are on sale and have Shrek 2 watches inside.

I bought Cocoa Puffs and Trix for the first time in ages.

And, damn if having a bowl of one in the milk of another isn't darned tasty. Like chocolate-covered strawberries or something.

Mud and Bugs

Timon and Pumbaa grace the cover of this chocolate puff cereal with bug-shaped marshmallows. Not very exciting, it seems like all we get anymore is the the puff'n'mallow thing. Buy the box, skip the cereal.
